Release notes to 14 July 2026

What’s new in CarbonChain

In the first half of July, we shipped a set of updates focused on clearer CBAM workflows, more reliable data sharing, and better visibility into supplier data quality.

  • Validated ratings are now easier to understand in Supplier Catalogue and Installations, with clearer badges, more visible readiness signals, and a detailed breakdown panel.

  • Indicative vs. validated ratings are now more clearly separated, so users can see when a score is based on submitted data versus an indicative estimate, with clearer prompts to request missing data.

  • The CBAM calculator now filters CN codes by supplier, making it easier to select the right product data without scanning irrelevant options.

  • CBAM certificate pricing has been updated for Q2 2026, so current-period cost calculations reflect the latest value.

  • Users now get a warning before changing ADUI product selections when that change would clear the form, reducing accidental data loss.

  • Sharing workflows are now limited to installation level, which makes the experience more consistent and reduces confusion around what is being shared.

  • CBAM upload errors are now shown more clearly to users, with more useful parsing feedback when a template contains invalid or incomplete data.
