What’s new in CarbonChain
In the first half of July, we shipped a set of updates focused on clearer CBAM workflows, more reliable data sharing, and better visibility into supplier data quality.
Validated ratings are now easier to understand in Supplier Catalogue and Installations, with clearer badges, more visible readiness signals, and a detailed breakdown panel.
Indicative vs. validated ratings are now more clearly separated, so users can see when a score is based on submitted data versus an indicative estimate, with clearer prompts to request missing data.
The CBAM calculator now filters CN codes by supplier, making it easier to select the right product data without scanning irrelevant options.
CBAM certificate pricing has been updated for Q2 2026, so current-period cost calculations reflect the latest value.
Users now get a warning before changing ADUI product selections when that change would clear the form, reducing accidental data loss.
Sharing workflows are now limited to installation level, which makes the experience more consistent and reduces confusion around what is being shared.
CBAM upload errors are now shown more clearly to users, with more useful parsing feedback when a template contains invalid or incomplete data.
